CARD STACKING
This is an example of card stacking because Nike uses specific information about the shoes to persuade people to buy them. They trying to tell the audience that this product is “intelligently developed” through research and technology for better cushioning, weight, and sturdiness. For example, specific information about the product, such as “high tension fiber” and “hexagonal” cushioning, are used to grab trust and credibility from the audience. Also, since this information is confusing because of its technicality, which makes us believe that since it seems professional and technical, that it must be good and legitimate - thus being a usage of card stacking in statistics.
